About the role
We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team at BSP Brisbane Pty Ltd in Toowong, Queensland. In this important role, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and providing administrative support to our office.
What you'll be doing
Managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Preparing monthly financial reports and statements
Payroll processing and tax compliance (BAS/IAS/PAYG)
Providing general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, general administration, and maintaining workflow systems
Liaising with our accountant and director to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar role
Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero or MYOB (MYOB preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes, payroll, and tax requirements
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proposed Workdays/ hours
- Flexible work arrangement hours are possible in this position - proposed days Wednesday to Friday, hours can be flexible for right applicant within 9am - 5pm work hours.
