Join our team in Brisbane as the Finance Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Pure Qld business units. Central to the role is reporting, analysis, budgeting, and ensuring robust controls are in place to support growth with informed decision making. Reporting to the Executive General Manager - QLD, the Finance Manager will collaborate closely with QLD Management and Admin teams and Pure Corporate Finance to achieve these outcomes.

The role:

Reporting/Budgeting

Preparation of monthly reporting pack providing insightful analysis and commentary, variance analysis, forecasting and other metrics

Lead the QLD budgeting process

Responsible for external regulatory reporting for QLD

Ad hoc reporting for Management

ERP/accounting compliance

Oversee ERP maintenance relating to finance

Manage all monthly general ledger entries

Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled with supporting documentation

Work closely with admin team to ensure timely and accurate AR invoicing and collections and AP entry and payments

Fixed asset maintenance, additions, disposals, depreciation

Maintain effective controls over ERP delegations of authority, robust banking/approval controls and conduct regular reviews to identify mis statement, error or fraudulent activity

Work with Corporate finance and admin on integration of new business acquisitions

Partner with wider business to improve processes and system enhancements

Lead the QLD business in all aspects of interim and year-end external audit program

Team Support

Provide support to the General Manager, Administration Manager, Profit Centre Managers, and Sales Team via support on projects and financial insights.

Work with Corporate Finance and admin to implement optimisation of processes and standardisation of accounting tasks across all Pure businesses

Collaborate with HSE team when required by providing any financial information to ensure safety and environment is upheld to the highest standard.

Build strong relationships throughout to help drive a fun, supportive and thriving culture

About you:

Accounting degree with CPA or CA with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management

Dynamics 365 experience (desired but not essential).

Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as work effectively autonomously.

Desire to be hands on with high level of initiative and self-motivation as the key finance resource in QLD.
