We are looking for a RMO to join our multidisciplinary team working on our 22 bed Geriatric Rehabilitation, Medical and Palliative Care Ward.

When We Need You:

Weekdays (possibility to work 4 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage patient care under the supervision of Consultants.

Communicate with patients and their carers.

Ensure effective discharge planning occurs with involvement of the patient, family and/or other care providers.

Complete online discharge summaries promptly, ensuring patients, General Practitioners and other care providers have adequate information to continue care.

Organise requests for pathology, radiology and other investigations.

Communicate and co-ordinate within a multi-disciplinary team in regard to management plans, medication prescriptions, diagnostic requests, consultations and discharge plans.

Essential criteria:

Current AHPRA registration

Minimum 2 years RMO/CMO experience

Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

Australian resident or appropriate working visa (Sponsorship will not be considered).

Experience in rehabilitation

Excellent time management skills

Satisfactory Police Check

Evidence of protection against specified infectious diseases.
