About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, passionate Horticulture Specialist to oversee and grow our gardening and grounds maintenance services. You’ll play a vital role in training and coaching Supported Employees and Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality, safe, and professional horticultural work.
From mentoring and skill development to quoting new projects and ensuring service standards, this is a role where your knowledge, leadership, and care for people will truly shine.
This is an active role involving both office-based planning and regular travel to all C2A sites across Victoria. It combines outdoor work, manual labour, and collaboration with our teams, Business Managers, and clients. No two days will be the same – and the impact you make will be long lasting.
What You’ll Be Doing
Train, coach, and inspire Supported Employees and Disability Support Workers in horticulture.
Oversee quality of gardening and grounds maintenance services across multiple sites.
Assist with quoting, tender submissions, and new project development.
Manage tools, equipment, and seasonal task planning.
Support our mission of inclusion by creating meaningful work opportunities in horticulture.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Qualifications in Horticulture (or equivalent experience in commercial gardening).
Strong technical skills and knowledge of horticultural best practice.
Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others in hands-on work.
A solid understanding of costs and quoting in this industry
A commitment to inclusion and supporting people with disability.
Great organisational and communication skills – you’ll set the standard and motivate others.
A driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across all C2A sites.
Employment is subject to an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Bonus points if you have experience in disability support, supported employment, or social enterprise environments.
What We Offer
A purposeful career – your expertise directly supports inclusion.
A supportive, values-driven team.
Ongoing professional development opportunities.
Salary packaging options to maximise your take-home pay.
We will be shortlisting and interviewing as applications come in – so don’t wait to apply.
