Machine & Forklift Operators – Steel Manufacturing

Location: Novar Gardens SA
Pay Rates: $32.32–$40+ per hour | Ongoing shifts Monday–Friday with overtime

Are you safety-focused and mechanically minded? We’re looking for hands-on operators to join our steel manufacturing teams in Novar Gardens SA. With opportunities across multiple shift patterns, this is your chance to secure ongoing work with well-established industry leaders.

What you’ll be doing

• Forklift operations – loading/unloading trucks and vehicles
• Moving products from production lines to yards (20–30kg team lifting)
• Machine operations, mill operations and production line support
• Line clearing, metal cutting and rolling
• Manual and electronic machinery operations
• Order picking and packing
• Manual handling of steel products
• Basic computer operations

What we’re looking for

• Current valid forklift licence (desirable for most positions)
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Mechanically minded with good mechanical aptitude
• Open to learning and adapting across different roles
• Ability to interpret drawings and follow work instructions
• Willingness to be cross-trained and upskilled
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy industry work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term work (set shifts, Monday–Friday)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening

Shifts & Pay (Novar Gardens – set shifts, no rotations)

• Day: 6:30AM–2:30PM | $32.32/hr
• Afternoon: 2:30PM–10:30PM | $37.16/hr
• Night: 10:30PM–6:30AM | $40+/hr
