CNC Room Operator – Full Time

Location: Port Adelaide, SA

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced CNC Room Operator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be part of a progressive and quality-driven workshop, playing a key role in the machining and production phase of our residential and small-scale commercial joinery projects.

In this role, you will:

Operate and maintain CNC and edge banding machinery

Interpret cutting lists and production drawings

Load and unload materials, ensuring correct part allocation

Conduct quality checks on machined components

Assist in material preparation and coordination for upcoming jobs

Follow production schedules

Support Lean manufacturing processes and uphold shop-floor cleanliness (5S)

Requirements:

Previous experience operating CNC and/or edge banding equipment or similar

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to follow production documentation and cutting lists

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment

Forklift license preferred (not essential)
