Mechanical Fitters - Penrith, NSW | Immediate Start

We're seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing maintenance, breakdown response, and shutdown work in Penrith.

Location: Penrith, NSW

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Full-Time (based on experience and site needs)

What You'll Need:

Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate (Cert III or equivalent)

Proven experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments

Strong fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to work autonomously and in team-based environments

Full Australian work rights (no sponsorship available)

Duties Include:

Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on mechanical components and assemblies in a controlled workshop environment

Strip-downs, inspections, and rebuilds of pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment

Precision fitting, alignment, and testing of refurbished machinery prior to dispatch or site installation

Fabrication support, including minor welding, grinding, and machining tasks as required

Maintaining workshop QA/QC documentation and adhering to safety protocols and clean work practices

Collaborating with supervisors and trades to ensure timely turnaround of equipment and parts
