We are currently seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team.

This role holds the responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel’s operations.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your main responsibilities include:

Greet clients, visitors and guests in a professional and courteous manner;

Deal with all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner whether in person, telephone or email;

Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's front office;

Effectively manage the daily reconciliation of the hotel's trading;

Responding to guest feedback in an efficient and proactive manner;

Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved;

Effective coordination of guest arrivals and departures;

Managing guest relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests;

Utilisation of the Front Office system to meet operational needs and produce accurate reports.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Be flexible to work a mixture of mornings and nights including weekends and on public holidays as per our business demands;

You will have previous experience which is essential in a fast-paced front office environment;

Hands-on work ethic and impeccable organisational skills, able to multi-tasks;

Demonstrate authentic customer service, interpersonal & flexible skills in your approach;

Project a professional image and personal presentation at all times;

Handle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency;

Excellent organisation and time management;

Coordination and transition with departments to ensure smooth functioning in all departments;

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite;

Experience with RMS or another PMS preferred but not essential;

Possess a RSA Qualification. Fire Warden training will be highly regarded;

The capability to remain calm and adaptable to pressure;

Trustworthy and maintain confidentiality with a degree of empathy and fairness with all concerned.
