About the role

Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As a casual member of our Front Office and Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all our guests.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently

Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner

Providing information about the resort's amenities, facilities and local attractions

Assisting with luggage handling and transportation arrangements as needed

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and front desk area

Handling financial transactions and cash management accurately

Providing excellent customer service to ensure guests have a positive and memorable stay

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle guest requests and concerns

Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technology

A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
