About this role:

ASAP start

$36 per hour + superannuation

Typical shifts between 9:30-19:00

Min 20 hours per week, depending on the needs of the business

Monday to Friday, generally no weekend work

Work across our hot, cold and sandwich sections

Based in Artarmon, 2064

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare and assemble a variety of hot and cold dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to company standards

Prepare, portion, and cook vegetables, meats, and other ingredients for a range of menu items, following standardised recipes and procedures

Prepare bulk ingredients, dressings, and sauces, maintaining consistency and quality of work

Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to high food hygiene and safety standards

Execute tasks with efficiency, collaborate with the team, and consistently surpass production KPIs and deadlines

Contribute creatively to menu evolution by sharing insightful feedback and suggestions

To be successful in the role:

Trade-qualified chef or minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen

Enjoy multi-tasking and overcome challenges

Confidence working with a diverse group of people with different levels of experience

Proven experience working in a fast and clean manner

Hold current food safety certifications

Have strong written and spoken English
