Exciting opportunity for an experiened Facilities Manager to join a NSW State Government department based in Parramatta. Temp assignment up to June 30 2026!

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting on premises, fleet and asset management and providing high level analysis, interpretation and advice to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all premises, fleets, assets and associated leases, contracts and related negotiations to ensure efficient and appropriate management and compliance with contract terms and budgets
• Procure and manage services and assets in accordance with the Department's procurement and contract management framework to ensure contract specifications and KPIs are met
• Prepare and provide high level advice and interpretation to the leadership team on contract matters relating to the development, management and leasing of assets
• Represent the Department in committees, consultations and negotiations relating to asset management to facilitate information flow and meet project objectives
• Develop, implement and manage assigned projects/programs to achieve improved service delivery
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve any property or leasing issues and to identify opportunities for improved service delivery

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• 8 years experience in Facilities Management
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective communication and influencing and negotiating skills
• Strong understanding of Procurement and Contract Management
• Project Management skills
• High attention to detail
