About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our dynamic team at North Star Security in Perth, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of a variety of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation, service, and maintenance of electronic security systems.
Programming and commissioning of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Fault finding and troubleshooting.
Working across a variety of client sites including commercial buildings, local government, and high-security facilities.
Ensuring safety and compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
WA Security Installer Licence (essential).
Open Cabling Licence with endorsements (essential).
Experience with Gallagher, Inner Range, Integriti, Genetec, Milestone, or similar systems.
Strong technical, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills.
Current WA Driver’s Licence.
White Card & EWP Licence (essential).
NV1 or Baseline Defence clearance (highly regarded, but not essential – assistance can be provided).
