Advanced Polymer Technology are an owner-operated small business supplying high quality polyurethane products to multiple sectors, including the mining, mineral processing and drilling industries. We also offer grit blasting/ surface preparation, machining, custom polyurethane casting and surface treatment services.

We are currently seeking a Dispatch Officer to join our busy team located in Forrestdale. The successful candidate will require the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The position also requires someone who is approachable and comfortable dealing with both suppliers and customers. You will need a good eye for detail, great time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks will be required.

The position is offered on a full-time basis.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have the ability to read drawings and check quality requirements of incoming and outgoing items.
• Driver’s licence
• Forklift Licence
• Dogging Licence. Experience with overhead cranes will be highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety
• Be physically fit
• Punctual and reliable
• Attention to detail
• Experience in a similar role
• Proficient Computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Inventory based Software

Duties and Requirements will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Customer and Supplier liaison
• Co-ordinate and undertake collection and delivery runs
• Pack, prepare, load and unload goods
• Quality check received and outgoing goods
• Conduct inhouse stocktake and inventory requirements
• Present professionally to work wearing and using required PPE.
• Comply with all company policies, processes, procedures and working within the Company Quality, OH&S and Environmental processes.
