About the role:

Make a Difference Every Day – Step Into Leadership as an Assistant House Supervisor

Are you passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for young people? As an Assistant House Supervisor, you’ll play a vital leadership role in shaping lives and supporting our dedicated team of Residential Care Workers. You’ll take charge of the day-to-day care and wellbeing of the young people in our care, stepping in when the House Supervisor is off shift or not present.

This isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to lead with purpose, support young lives, and grow your career in a dynamic and values-driven team. As part of the Out of Home Care Program, you’ll work closely with the House Supervisor to ensure consistent, high-quality care that truly makes a difference.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be a role model for both young people and your peers, we want to hear from you.

We have 2x Permanent Full Time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Bendigo within our Out of Home Care program. The position reports to the House Supervisor.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant Diploma with substantial experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units).
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
  • Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
