IT Support Technician

• $80k–$85k base + super

• Education sector

• East Sydney location

We are focused on providing reliable, effective, and secure IT support to ensure seamless digital operations across classrooms, staff, and events. Our environment requires fast response times, hands-on problem solving, and proactive support to maintain a high-performing IT landscape.

The role:

• Provide deskside support and troubleshooting across classrooms, staff areas, and events

• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and disaster recovery

• Manage user accounts (Active Directory, Gmail, O365, Zoom, Pronote, Eduka, MYOB)

• Set up and maintain AV/Zoom for events and meetings, including digital signage

• Support IT projects

• Handle software and device deployments, imaging, and iPad MDM licensing

• Maintain IT assets, inventory, documentation, and service desk records

• Deliver inductions, training, and support material to staff to improve digital capability

• Provide Wi-Fi, telephone, mobile, and access system support

• Relocate and configure equipment as needed

About you:

• Strong communication skills

• Speaking French is a must have

• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage issues in a time-critical environment while maintaining a calm and professional approach

• Personable and approachable with strong customer service orientation

• Demonstrated confidentiality and professionalism in all work

Required skills:

• Relevant industry or professional qualifications

• Demonstrated Windows and TCP/IP troubleshooting experience

• Proven background in desktop support and user services

• Experience with Veeam recovery solutions

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
