Senior Support Worker — Part‑Time (24–32 hrs/week)

Caring Queensland is a registered NDIS (and award‑winning) provider delivering person‑centred services across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and Community Access. We’re seeking an experienced NDIS professional who enjoys combining frontline support with team mentoring and coordination.

What’s on offer

Part‑time 24–32 hours/week (Mon–Fri) — Part time to full‑time for the right candidate

SCHADS Award pay (commensurate with experience) + super + penalties as applicable

A supportive, small‑organisation culture with variety across SIL, community, and admin/leadership

Your impact

Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day operations across allocated SIL homes

Provide high‑quality, person‑centred support in homes and community

Mentor and support staff; assist with rostering and shift coverage

Help recruit, induct and train new team members; support client onboarding

Keep records sharp and incident reporting on time (NDIS Commission Portal)

You’ll bring

2+ years in the NDIS sector, with proven frontline leadership/mentoring

Working knowledge of NDIS Quality & Safeguards and incident/RP reporting

Experience with rostering/shift coordination and solid communication skills

First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card (or ability to obtain)

Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
