About the role

Join the experienced team at The Rego Shop as a full-time Mechanic. Working in our workshop in Port Macquarie, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a vast range of vehicles to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role where you'll get to use the latest tools and equipment to keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Conducting scheduled services and general maintenance on a variety of vehicles

Logbook servicing and repairs

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, and electrical faults

Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and wheel alignments

Service and repair aircon systems

Completing work in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer expectations

Maintaining accurate job records and documentation

Ensuring a clean, safe and organised work environment

Providing excellent customer service and advice

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence, able to drive manual cars

AIS and AUVIS vehicle examiner preferred but not essential

Aircon ticket preferred but not essential
