My exclusive client, a distinguished Adelaide-based architectural studio with over 40 years of success, is seeking an exceptional talent to join their award-winning team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a legacy of creating unique, functional, and beautiful environments across residential, commercial, and public sectors. If you're ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact on landmark projects, I want to hear from you.

The Opportunity: Architect

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of high-end architectural projects from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals, bringing your design flair and technical acumen to a diverse and prestigious portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and contribute to the innovative design and development of high-end projects spanning residential, commercial, and public domains, ensuring design excellence and alignment with client visions.
  • Produce meticulous architectural drawings, specifications, and compelling presentations utilising industry-leading software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Seamlessly manage and coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct thorough site analysis and feasibility studies, contributing to the strategic preparation of planning applications.
  • Ensure unwavering adherence to all relevant Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients through clear and professional communication.
  • Actively contribute to the studio's vibrant design culture through participation in team discussions, design critiques, and knowledge exchange.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architectural staff, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented team dynamic.
  • Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Stay at the forefront of architectural innovation by continuously exploring emerging trends, technologies, and materials.

What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Current registration as an Architect in Australia (or demonstrable eligibility).
  • 2-3 years of demonstrable professional experience as a practicing Architect.
  • A compelling and diverse portfolio showcasing your expertise in a mix of high-end projects, including luxury residential, premium commercial, and significant public buildings.
  • An exceptional design aesthetic and an unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality architectural outcomes.
  • Proven proficiency in industry-standard software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts with clarity and confidence.
  • A proven track record of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing project timelines and budgets.
