Join Curtin University as our Future Student CX Coordinator, where you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students throughout the full recruitment lifecycle from enquiry to admission by combining personalised support with smart use of data and systems.

About the Role:

This role will drive outbound personalised engagement initiatives informed by real-time data and behavioural insights. You’ll identify high-intent leads, plan communication strategies, and deliver personalised advice that showcases Curtin’s unique value proposition. Through careful targeting and providing proactive support, you’ll empower prospective students to make confident, informed decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide tailored, outbound support via various channels (phone, email, virtual appointments and in-person) to nurture prospective students throughout application stages, and/or after enquiries or event interactions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Curtin’s courses, pathways, and services to deliver accurate and compelling advice.
  • Use student systems and data to build segmented lead lists and profile prospective students for targeted outbound campaigns that drive funnel progression.
  • Track student engagement via CRM and automation platforms to uncover follow-up opportunities and drive personalised, data-informed communication.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment and conversion activities to measure success and draw insights that will refine our strategic approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment strategies, brief enquiry teams on outbound contact activities, and share insights and tactics that will enhance conversion outcomes.
  • Support the Future Student Enquiry team during peak periods and participate in student events outside normal office hours as needed.

Who we are looking for:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in sales, telemarketing and/or marketing environment with a comprehensive understanding of lead generation, nurturing, and conversion principles.
  • Ability to build trust and meaningful connections with future students via a range of channels, demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity and strong problem-solving skills to help customers overcome obstacles.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and compile data to support the development of targeted profile lists.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Marketo, Oracle Service Cloud, or Salesforce.
  • Skilled at navigating and building partnerships with internal stakeholders through excellent communication, networking, and negotiation.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to help coordinate outbound activities, meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Strong product knowledge of university courses and pathways or the higher education landscape (desired).

Role Requirements:

  1. As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
  2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
  3. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check
  4. Ability to work outside of normal office hours as required
