As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering insightful financial reporting and supporting informed business decisions.

As our Accountant, you'll be responsible for end-to-end month-end processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and act as a trusted advisor through your analysis and insights. Your efforts will directly contribute to the organisation’s financial health and strategic decision-making.

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will perform the below duties including but not limited to:

Lead the month-end process including bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and inter-company reconciliations

Prepare and present financial statements

Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts

Support year-end reconciliations, audits and compliance processes

Ensure accurate and timely transaction recordings

Review balance sheets and correct discrepancies

Assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts with department heads

Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support initiatives and reduce operational costs

Provide ad hoc support across the finance department and other areas as required.

About You:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role

Have a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or related field

CPA qualification preferred (or working towards)

Strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in MS Office and financial systems (MYOB Advanced highly valued)

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
