Diverse finance/ operations support role!

Are you a detailed hands-on Accountant looking for more operational support role. Pitch in with operations, weekly analysis, budget support!

About the Role:

This highly successful operational business with a national footprint and overseas reach is looking to strengthen their commercial team. With a broad remit this role will require you to go where the need is, rather than stick to the monthly routine.

With the support of the Commercial Manager and working in amongst the business itself you will be tasked with focusing on stock levels, freight & various reconciliations

Duties include:

Assisting with month-end reporting tasks

Assisting with budgeting process

KPI analysis of stock levels and shipments (Dashboards)

Weekly sales calculations/ analysis & weekly cashflow

Management of administrative tasks around scheduling

Assist with cost analysis and review for future contracts

Assist with the fixed asset register & depreciation schedule

Ad hoc project work as directed by the Commercial Manager

About You:

To be successful, you will be degree qualified (ideally studying to works CA/ CPA) have some commercial experience in an operational business or worked in business services with similar clients. You will be a positive and engaged team member with a great attitude, good attention to detail, exposure to Power BI highly desirable along with familiarity with an ERP system.
