The Role:

As a Senior Accountant at Carey Group, you’ll play a key role in driving the financial success of our diverse client base. You’ll oversee financial operations, craft detailed financial statements and provide high-level analysis to guide strategic decision-making. In addition, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering sound financial advice that helps clients achieve their goals.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in beautiful Townsville, where you can work in a collaborative, supportive environment while enjoying everything this tropical paradise has to offer!

What We’re Looking For:

Proven Experience: 3-5 years in a similar accounting role, with a solid understanding of financial reporting, financial analysis, and compliance.

Technical Skills: Expertise in preparing and interpreting financial statements, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

CPA/CA Certification: If you’ve got your CPA or CA certification, you’ll be ahead of the game!

Attention to Detail: You’ll bring precision and accuracy to everything you do, ensuring the highest quality of financial work.

Problem-Solver: You’re an analytical thinker who thrives in complex financial situations.

Great Communicator: You’ll be able to explain complex financial concepts to clients in clear, easy-to-understand language.

A Degree in Accounting or Finance is a must.
