About the role

Cairns Precision Earthworks is seeking a skilled Concreter to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our reputable construction company. As a Concreter, you will be responsible for all aspects of concrete work, from site preparation to the final finishing touches.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and leveling surfaces for concrete pouring

Mixing, pouring and finishing concrete for various construction projects

Ensuring the quality and integrity of concrete work through careful attention to detail

Operating and maintaining concrete-related equipment and tools

Working closely with other construction team members to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines

Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Concreter

Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques

Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail

Physical fitness and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence
