Concreter – Commercial & Industrial Projects

CDC BUILD PTY LTD is a Cairns-based commercial construction company. We're currently seeking experienced Concreters to join our growing team for ongoing and upcoming projects.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable concreters to join our team on a long-term basis. In this role, you’ll be working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites with a strong focus on quality and safety. While the primary scope is concreting, candidates must be willing to assist with general site duties and support carpentry teams as required.

Key Responsibilities

Placing, screeding, and finishing concrete

Setting up and stripping formwork and edge form

Assisting with steel fixing and reinforcement placement

Operating hand and power tools

Reading and interpreting plans and levels

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines

What We're Looking For

An open mind and willingness to learn new things, you will be required to work along side our chippy team when needed

Proven experience in concreting, ideally within commercial/industrial construction

Knowledge of tilt panel construction (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work outside your scope

Construction White Card (mandatory)

Driver’s license and reliable transport

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Physically fit and reliable

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
