Salary ($105k-$110k) + super + not-for-profit salary packaging

About the opportunity
At Primary Health Tasmania, our purpose is to create sustainable, high-quality health and wellbeing solutions with, and for, the Tasmanian community - making sure Tasmanians get the right health care, in the right place and at the right time. Our Practice Improvement team focuses on the core of Tasmania’s primary care system - directly supporting general practices and primary care providers.
Due to internal growth, we are excited to be searching for two brand-new team members in the role of Lead – Practice Improvement to actively implement national reform initiatives to improve primary care sustainability.

What you would be doing
Every day you will have the opportunity to lead and support practice improvement initiatives by:
Operating flexibly across all defined Practice Improvement portfolios
Providing cross-portfolio leadership support across the Practice Improvement team
Working collaboratively with your team to enhance primary care engagement
Building awareness of quality improvement and supporting the team to embed this within general practice and other primary care settings
Providing technical leadership, mentoring and day-to-day support to the team
Supporting capability for the delivery of projects and reform priorities
Here's what you’ll look like
You might have a background in primary healthcare and have an applied understanding of quality improvement methodologies in health care settings.
These skills will also get you off to a great start:
Engagement and Collaboration: Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with primary healthcare
Agility and Responsiveness: You are adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to balance multiple projects and shifting priorities
Change Management: Ability to facilitate and manage change within healthcare organisations, guiding teams through transitions and overcoming resistance to new processes or initiatives
Team Leadership: Demonstrated strong capability and experience in leading teams for high performance in complex operational environments
