About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the dynamic team at Rise Early Learning Charmhaven as a full-time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for children while enjoying exceptional opportunities for career development and progression. The Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:
- Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
- Open to our innovative and unique way of programming and practice
- Strong leader, inclusive of others, and brings a positive attitude everyday
- Passion for and motivation to actively embed and model the RIE approach
- Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with the service
- Flair for building and maintaining positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check
- Understanding of contemporary child safe practices
- Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree, or working towards, depending on course progress
- Available for full-time work, all hours the service is operational, and able to be flexible as required
- Mentoring and/or leadership experience (desirable) paired with solid recent experience as an Early Childhood Teacher and/or Educator (essential) within the sector
- Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh).
