Process Engineer - Drinking Water Guidelines

What will you be doing?

• Providing engineering support and design input for proposals, focusing on water and wastewater assets.
• Performing process and hydraulic design for treatment equipment and processes.
• Conducting process engineering analysis to optimise plant operations for safety, quality, and cost.
• Providing quality assurance and design sign-off during the construction and commissioning phases, including performance testing.
• Reviewing final plant designs to undertake optimisation.
• Performing risk assessments and actively participating in safety reviews and HAZOPs.
• Assisting in building client relationships to positively impact business growth.

What do you need?

• Tertiary qualifications in either chemical or process engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of Australian process design engineering experience, ideally in the water industry.
• Ideally, you will be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or actively working towards it.
• The ability to travel for commissioning assistance at remote sites.
• Previous experience with water treatment projects and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) would be highly regarded.
