Principal Civil Designer

• Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD
• Roster: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 50/50 WFH split
• Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + benefits
• Key Benefit: Flexible hybrid working arrangements
• Key Essential Qualification: Civil Design software proficiency (12d, AutoCAD)

Role Opportunity
Join a well-established water and civil engineering consultancy as a Principal Civil Designer. You will lead client engagement, project design management, and team mentoring, while still contributing technically when required. This role is client-facing, offering scope to influence major water and infrastructure projects.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Design
• Strong proficiency in 12d and AutoCAD
• Demonstrated client-facing and PM experience
• 10+ years in civil design project delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and deliver civil design projects
• Lead client engagement and project management
• Mentor and guide a team of 15 designers
• Develop and review technical design packages
• Drive quality outcomes across project lifecycle
