About the role

Little Rascals Childcare Centre is seeking an experienced Diploma Educator to join our passionate and dedicated team . As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's development.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Observe and document children's progress, interests, and developmental needs to individualise your approach

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the broader community

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment that meets all regulatory standards

Collaborate with the team to continuously improve practices and contribute to the Centre's quality improvement

Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Educator in a childcare setting

Thorough understanding of child development, and the National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications

Current Working with Children Check

Someone with the drive to succeed and move forward with their career
