About the Role
We are seeking an educator for a permanent afternoon shift (1pm–6pm, Monday to Friday). This role includes supporting our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program — assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups for two local primary schools.
In addition to working with our school-aged children, you will also assist as a floater across other rooms, helping support our educators and children aged 0–5 as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and education across all age groups (0–12 years)
Support the OSHC program during drop-off/pick-up times and afternoon activities
Assist in other rooms as a floater to support daily routines and programming
Use the centre iPad for documentation (mealtimes, nappies, headcounts, observations, etc.)
Work positively with children who may have learning disabilities or behavioural challenges
Collaborate with a passionate team to ensure compliance with NQF and centre policies
What We’re Looking For
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
Diploma qualification (highly preferred) or willingness to enrol
Full driver’s licence C (required)
Comfortable using technology for documentation
Flexible, team-oriented, and confident working across various age groups
Strong communication skills and a nurturing, inclusive approach
