About the role

Horizons Childhood Learning Centres' is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator – Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) to join our team in Beaconsfield WA 6162. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality care and educational activities for children enrolled in our OSHC program
• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans and programs that support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
• Communicating effectively with parents/guardians and other stakeholders
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
• Actively participating in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Proven experience working in an OSHC or similar childcare setting
• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Working with Children Check
