Are you looking for an opportunity to work in natural resources management on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula? We are looking for someone with excellent data management and reporting skills to join our team as the Data and Spatial Officer. This position supports the Planning and Information Management Officer with three main functions: the development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems; managing and improving data collection and management systems; and providing spatial services such as mapping, and answering data queries. You will also provide staff support with managing portable devices used for data collection. While the position is mostly office based, there will also be limited opportunity to be involved with on-site monitoring work.

If you have excellent data and reporting skills, but limited spatial science skills, you will have the opportunity to develop these in-house. In the longer term you will also have the opportunity to build on these skills, learning to work within an enterprise portal, developing and managing data collection and shared web mapping applications.
