We seek a Casual Logistics Coordinator/ Scheduler to be based out of our in Virginia site. This is a fast paced but very rewarding role, that will require you to work efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
Plan routes and schedule loads for multi-drop deliveries, taking into account factors such as delivery windows, vehicle capacities, and traffic conditions.
Coordinate and book deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Liaise with customers to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and provide updates on delivery status.
Allocate and record resources and movements in the transport planning system to maintain accurate records and ensure optimal use of resources.
Collaborate with partners in the supply chain to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements and providing timely updates and solutions to meet their needs.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 1 years' experience in a scheduling role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of scheduling principles and practices.
Ability to make quick decisions while minimizing the impact on customers, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and maintain scheduling information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
Desirable: Knowledge of SAP or similar transport planning systems, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
