About Us

We are a well-loved café in Beechmont, known for great coffee, hearty meals, and our warm connection with the local community and visitors. We’re now seeking a reliable and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team full-time.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals across our breakfast and lunch service (with occasional light dinner service), ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation remain at a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard

Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation

Work efficiently during busy service periods

Assist with menu planning and daily specials

Ensure the kitchen meets hygiene, safety, and compliance standards

Manage stock rotation, food storage, and minimise wastage

Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer experiences

About You

Experience working in a café or restaurant kitchen (cook/chef level)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment '

Strong time-management and organisation skills

Positive attitude and team-player mindset

Reliability and commitment to a full-time position
