About the role

As a Finance Officer at Elite Strata Management NT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and operations of our rapidly growing business. Based in our Darwin office, this is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial accounting and reporting within the strata management industry.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and processing financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts

Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Providing financial support to the strata management team, including budget analysis and forecasting

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of financial systems and procedures

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably within the strata management or property industry

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills

Proficiency in using financial accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
