Grain Farm Worker – Full-Time Position

Turner and Son and Cheviot Hills Farming Co, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Grain Farm Worker to join our team at our farming operation located in Corrigin, Western Australia. Key Responsibilities:

Regularly monitor and assess the health and condition of grain, oilseed, pulse, and pasture crops

Perform a variety of field preparation and crop management tasks, including ploughing, harrowing, and weed control

Apply chemical treatments to crops when necessary to manage pests, diseases, and unwanted vegetation

Collect, store, and load harvested produce, including silage and bales, for transportation
Conduct general upkeep, cleaning, and operation of farm infrastructure and machinery, such as sheds, fences, and equipment

Operate and maintain irrigation systems to support optimal crop growth

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience working in grain farming

Practical knowledge of farm machinery and equipment operation

A sound understanding of crop production and maintenance practices

The ability to work independently in remote or rural settings

Good physical fitness and a commitment to safe work practices

A current driver’s licence is highly desirable
