Motor Mechanic

Narangba Autos is seeking a Mechanic for our family owned and RACQ approved workshop.

We provide Mechanical services such as Vehicle Servicing, General repairs, air-conditioning repairs and Safety Certificates on a wide range of vehicles.

We are seeking a mechanic who is trade qualified to join our friendly team at Narangba Autos. A high standard of Customer service with integrity is our ethos. We have a strong standing in the local community with a high recommendation rate and return customers some of which have been with us for over 20 years.

Role and Responsibility

Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic with minimum 5 years experience

Complete a range of log book servicing and repairs efficiently

Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose a range of vehicles

Fitting and balancing Tyres and performing Wheel Alignments

Work autonomously with limited management supervision

Identify methods and Parts required for efficient and safe repairs

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Current Trade level Certificate III or IV in Vehicle Repairs

Good organisation and clear communication skills (verbal and written)

High work ethics and ability to produce high quality workmanship

Knowledge of and ability to comply to WHS obligations and relevant workplace policies.

Sound level of physical ability and fitness appropriate for the role

Team player and willing to assist in all aspects of the workshop

Current manual driver’s licence

Extensive diagnostic skills and ability to work without direction

Experience meeting efficiency targets

Needs to be living in Australia and be an Australian citizen
