Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of vehicles. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing tasks, including oil and filter changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.

Diagnose faults in vehicle mechanical and electronic systems using computerised diagnostic tools.

Conduct repairs and overhauls of engines, gearboxes, suspension systems, steering systems, cooling systems, and drivetrains.

Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance.

Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to accurately carry out repairs.

Respond to vehicle breakdowns and perform on-site diagnostics and minor repairs when required.

Skills and Qualifications

Certificate III or IV, or a Diploma in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in the automotive repair industry.

Valid Australian Open Driver’s License.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical information.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
