VHD Studio are an award-winning building & interior design company. Our capabilities include Education facilities, Commercial buildings, Industrial Design & Multi Residential Projects. Our team are based in Toowoomba and have a second office in Brisbane, allowing us to deliver designs throughout South Queensland.

THE ROLE

To manage all phases of the design project from initial client interaction / design through to the delivery of completed construction documentation, including;

Client Management & Schematic Design

Developing Schematic Designs to meet the clients brief with constant feedback to ensure efficiency

Design Documentation

Develop Building Design documentation for a project to allow it to be constructed

Produce detailed finishes and fixtures schedules to support the design documentation package

Design Management

Manage the Coordination of other consultants required to complete the project

Assist in the development of design packages to support the lodgement of applications for Statutory Approvals

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years' experience as a Building & Interior Designer / Architectural Draftsperson

Skills & Experience

Ability to use design software including Autodesk Revit at a high level

Skilled at interpreting architectural plans and technical documents

Current knowledge of BCA/NCC, industry Legislation, Codes and Standards

Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes

Microsoft Office proficiency at a high level
