About the position
Are you an experienced operator with leadership skills and a passion for civil construction? The City of Gosnells Engineering Construction Team is offering an exciting opportunity to step into a key role within our dynamic Engineering Works crew.
We’re seeking a suitably qualified team leader to help guide our stormwater drainage crew, operating major construction plant including backhoes and excavators. You’ll play a vital part in delivering the City’s annual stormwater drainage program, contributing to essential infrastructure that supports our growing community.
What we are looking for
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices particularly in relation drainage works.
Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices operating construction plant, primarily a backhoe or excavator.
Sound knowledge of engineering construction techniques and standards.
The ability to work in a team environment and lead the drainage construction team
The ability to operate safely adjacent to public utilities.
Essential requirements
Current MR class driver’s licence
White Card
Operators certificate
Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but may be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
