About the Role:
Maxima’s Adelaide Hill’s based client is seeking a casual Customer Service superstar on an ongoing basis. The key purpose of this role is to backfill when customer service team members are unable to work. Due to this reason, there are no guaranteed weekly hours; some weeks there may only be one shift, others may have no shifts whilst other weeks may have multiple shifts. Rostering is organised a few weeks in advance at a time, so you will know when you are working with some notice.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high quality first point of contact for customers and visitors, relating to enquiries, requests and complaints regarding council activities
- Redirect customer enquiries to the relevant council departments
- Ensure front reception space is tidy with up to date brochures and information available
- Maintain and update council databases as required
- Other customer service and administration duties as required
About You:
- Prior experience in Council customer service (preferred)
- Comfortable with the above mentioned rostering
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Cash handling and financial transaction experience
- Ability to deal with difficult customers
- Time management and organisational skills
