Randstad is currently recruiting for Customer Service Officers to work within a busy Government Agency. This will require a high level of good communication skills, high attention to details and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

• $45 - $46 per hour + Superannuation
• Full Time Hours, Monday - Friday
• Long-term contract in Adelaide CBD

About the role

The Customer Service Officers will provide advice and support to customers in relation to Australian Travel Documents. Staff may be required to rotate duties in both face-to-face counter support and back office support.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Providing counter/reception support for the local offices
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email or in person
• Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries
• Ensure quality of documentation
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism across all duties and responsibilities
• General administrative duties within the office

We are looking for an individual that:

• Proven experience in a government department or a similar business environment is an advantage
• Existing Baseline Clearance will be highly regarded
• Previous or current demonstrated customer service skills
• Advanced skills in word processing, Excel and PowerPoint applications
• High level skills in verbal and written communication and able to deal with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
