We are looking for a roller driver for a busy Civil company based near Ipswich but working in Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim and Brisbane work will start casual labour hire but may be ongoing for the right person.

Hours are 6.30 am to 5.00 pm mostly but may vary depending on weather and need,

You will need

Roller ticket and experience / current Rii any other tickets and experience also an advantage.

Operate, maintain and service various types of rollers (including smooth drum and pad foot) in an effective and safe manner.

Ensure compaction of pavements, roads and bases are completed to a high standard considering the varying types of gravel, depth and moisture and purpose of work.

Proactively participate and contribute towards the achievement of team and work goals. Participate in take 5's and toolbox meetings on site. Adhere to all site safety requirements and expectations.

Ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures (including correct use, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment)

Please note that manual handling is associated with this role and you will need the appropriate level of fitness to perform this work , training in hazards, risk controls and safe work procedures will be provided
