Hourly rate: $40 to $60/ hr + for the right person or skills.

Your Role

Responsibilities will include (but are certainly not limited to):

Draft and prepare technical drawings and designs for production and manufacturing projects

Finalise drawings, ready for CNC / production with all relevant information for construction

Create hardware & material list relevant for each job

Order relevant hardware and materials

Provide support to production through drawing updates as required

Problem solve technical and design issues

Consult with clients to identify potential issues and recommend improvements

Be able to read and interpret Architectural plans, hand drawn drafts and verbal instructions

Demonstrate sound industry experience to promote and represent the business and our clients

To join us, you will need (not limited to):

Previous experience in the Building, Joinery, Kitchen Cabinetry Manufacturing industries

Experience using Cabmaster

Knowledge in other programs such as Auto Cad or similar joinery design software

Possess organisational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing processes

Communicates well within a team

Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Driver’s licence

Efficiency, diligence, punctuality and initiative

Ideal candidate - Ex cabinetmaker with drafting experience
