Are you passionate about providing high-quality support to users and enabling seamless learning experiences? Our federal government client is seeking Technology Support Officers to join their team in supporting critical Learning Management Systems (LMS) operations.

This is a key opportunity to work in a high-impact environment where you'll be the go-to for end-user support, playing an essential role in the day-to-day delivery of technical assistance, customer service, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical:

  • Provide advice to resolve simple technical and non-technical issues.
  • Offer administrative support as required.
  • Understand and address new or complex issues within the technical support team.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training related to service management activities
  • Prepare procedural and governance documentation to support business as usual capability.
  • Assist in the development of materials to support knowledge transfer under guidance.
  • Evaluate software changes, considering benefits, risks, and total cost of ownership.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Monitor shared inboxes and triage support requests efficiently
  • Act as a liaison for user queries, ensuring prompt and effective responses
  • Build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Prioritise tasks and respond to urgent issues calmly and professionally
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing support team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Skills and Experience Required

  • Prior experience providing ICT Helpdesk or technical support in a large enterprise or government environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach
  • High-level technical documentation and administrative capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field

Desirable

  • Experience supporting Moodle, other Learning Management Systems, or enterprise platforms
  • Intermediate skills in developing learning content
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology administration and support functions

Security Clearance:

Existing NV1 clearance preferred.
