About the Role

Join our state-of-the-art Tailings Storage Facility at Karara, featuring an innovative mobile, extendable conveyor system that cuts costs and reduces environmental impact. You’ll be part of a dedicated team of around 40 professionals, working alongside leadership, operators, and skilled tradespeople.

As a Mechanical Maintainer, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our plant running smoothly, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability at every step. You’ll report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent and Maintenance Coordinator.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintenance & Repairs – Keep fixed and mobile plant equipment in top condition.
• Scheduling – Work with the Fixed Plant Maintenance Lead to ensure maintenance is completed on time.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow all HSE standards, Mine Safety Inspection Act regulations, and client contract requirements.
• Inspections – Identify and report defects in both fixed and mobile plant equipment.
• Record Keeping – Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports to site management.
• Communication – Use two-way radios professionally, following Karara radio protocols.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

✔ Trade Qualification in Fixed Plant
✔ Valid Driver’s License
✔ Mandatory Certifications – EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights, and White Card
✔ First Aid Certificate (Desirable, but not essential)
✔ FLS Stockpile Conveyor System Operation Experience (Desirable, but not essential)
