Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, are Seeking the experience of a Satellite Communications Engineer for a 12 + 12 + 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Integration of high performance, low-maintenance satellite terminals
• Deployment of NGSO capabilities to pilot sites
• Maintenance of high-risk GEO location
• Ability to mentor or provide technical guidance to junior engineers or field technicians.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, cyber
  assurance, and regional technical officers
  
  

Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and/or Communications / (2) Diploma of Engineering in Electronics and/or Communications
• Experience supporting government or defence satellite communications projects.
• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in satellite communications engineering, including GEO and NGSO systems.
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave communication systems, including design, testing, and optimisation.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing high-availability WAN services, including satellite-based connectivity solutions that ensure reliable and resilient communications across geographically dispersed locations.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including high-level designs and maintenance plans.
