An opportunity to join one of Australia's largest window furnishings manufacturers, based in Bayswater.

We are looking for people to start immediately to be trained to manufacture quality, custom-made window furnishings, including roller blinds, venetians, verticals and curtain tracks.

Positions are available in our day shift (7:00am-3:06pm) for Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime regularly available through the busy season.

A successful applicant will:

Have a great attitude and hard work ethic

Be willing to learn new skills

Be physically fit and able to lift, push and pull at least 20 kilograms

Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Have a high level of attention to detail

Be able to follow direction

Have good manual handling skills

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Preparation of raw materials

Assembly of product

Manual handling

Responsible use and respect of tools and machinery

Assembling and packing boxes and applying correct labelling

Keeping work area clean

Training will be provided on the job. You will be provided with ongoing training and support to ensure you have the skills and ability to complete your work.

Requirements for the role

Must be fluent in spoken and written English

Physical ability to move and lift assembled product

Can work safely around machinery in a manufacturing environment

Willing to move between stations and departments regularly once trained
