In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in Agile business requirements to a multi-year digital transformation initiative modernising case management systems with a significant impact on state services, safety, and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

• Scoping business requirements in an Agile ICT program
• Leading requirements gathering, modelling, and stakeholder engagement in line with approved standards
• Collaborating on user story creation, backlog refinement, and DevOps processes
• Supporting product managers, product owners, and delivery teams with analysis and guidance
• Building positive relationships across teams, fostering engagement and communication
• Supporting organisational change and business process alignment through requirements definition

What you need to bring

• Proven experience in Agile analysis for complex digital transformation projects
• Strong stakeholder negotiation, consultation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of predictive and adaptive requirements approaches for competing priorities
• Proficiency with BPMN, UML, and other requirements notations, including traceability methods
• Ability to represent and mentor Product Owners and guide delivery teams
• Experience establishing and reporting on measurable requirements quality and completeness

• Consulting background (Tier 1, 2, or 3 firms)
• Experience in business or digital transformation, particularly in regulatory environments
• Familiarity with CRM or case management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, JIRA)
• Experience in design and build workflow technologies
