We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker with experience in aged care, NDIS or mental health care to join our team. In this role, you'll provide person-centered care to clients in a variety of settings, supporting them to achieve their goals and enhancing their well-being.
What we are looking for:
Provide compassionate, high-quality day-to-day support and assistance to participants
Work collaboratively with other support staff to maintain high standards of care
Implement individualised support plans tailored to participant needs
Assist with medication administration and daily living tasks
Ensure participants’ health, safety, and wellbeing at all times
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational requirements
Build and sustain positive relationships with participants and their families
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities
Show reliability, dependability, and good time management skills
Effectively communicate and engage with participants who have limited verbal communication or speak English as a second language
Prior experience supporting individuals with moderate to high challenging behaviours is beneficial but not essential
Exhibit a caring, compassionate, and motivated attitude with a positive outlook

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
Certificate III or IV in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care
NDIS Worker Check (must be current)
Assist with Medication Certificate (required)
Manual Handling Certificate (required)
Infection Control Certificate (required)
Driver’s License (valid and unrestricted)
Comprehensive Car Insurance (Current)
National Criminal History Check (required within 6 months)
Working with Children’s Check (Current)
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates
Willingness and ability to travel for work purposes, as required by the role.
Smart phone required and comfortable using technology
Evidence of Covid vaccination status preferred
Skills & Experience:
Proven one year’s minimum experience as a Support Worker
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Driven by a deep sense of purpose to create meaningful change in people’s lives.
